A great getaway for my father and his wife
“I booked this room for them and they loved it. Said it was a lovely weekend, and they enjoyed the space indoors and outdoors, especially the deck. They ate meals, talked, and read at the table outdoors. A good menu selection for lunch and dinner, and all reasonably priced. Try the vegetarian chicken and waffles ”

An amazing home away from home
“I had a month stay here since I had to work at Springfield Hospital as a traveling nurse. I had night and day shifts and this was such a comfortable place to come home to. The kitchen is full of pots and pans and such that I was able to use. Liz has lots of tips for places to visit, and even where to get your car fixed!”

Great hospitality!
“And a mean breakfast! Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, oatmeal, granola, and fruit are provided with the room, but we chose to eat off the menu. Maple pumpkin pancakes and sausages one day, and grits and ham steak the next morning. Sure, you can tell its not meat, but the flavors and textures are really good. We are making plans to come back in the fall as it’s super close to a hang gliding school.
